ABOUT US

The work behind the change.

A Jordanian nonprofit empowering persons with disabilities — through inclusion, training, and the slow, real work of changing communities.

A group of Be Positive participants and partners gathered at an event in Amman.

Be Positive Association is a Jordanian non-profit organization founded in 2016 and registered with the Ministry of Social Development. Our board comprises disability-rights activists with extensive experience in training, advocacy, and inclusive program development.

We work alongside persons with disabilities, their families, and partner organizations to build skills, create jobs, and shift attitudes — turning inclusion from a slogan into something that shows up in workplaces, classrooms, and communities.

VISION

Towards a friendly community to achieve equal opportunities and a better life for persons with disabilities.

MISSION

To empower persons with disabilities through awareness, capacity-building, and inclusive participation. We challenge stigma and ensure that disability is met with opportunity, not exclusion.

STRATEGIC GOALS

Five directions for the next chapter.

01

Promote awareness among persons with disabilities and their families about their rights.

02

Build inclusive attitudes in the wider community.

03

Empower persons with disabilities to advocate for themselves.

04

Facilitate access to sustainable employment through training and job coaching.

05

Create income-generating initiatives to sustain our impact.

WHO WE SERVE

A community wider than the label.

Be Positive's programs intentionally work with persons with and without disabilities together — because inclusion is something a whole community builds.

Adults and children

With and without disabilities — from youth to working-age adults, refugees and Jordanians alike.

Local community members

Families, employers, schools, and neighbours — the people whose attitudes determine real inclusion.

Private & public sector partners

Government bodies, businesses, and fellow NGOs who advance disability inclusion together with us.

HOW WE WORK

Four principles behind every program.

01

Inclusion

Every person belongs — fully, not partially, not conditionally.

02

Agency

Beneficiaries lead. We design with people, not for them.

03

Community

Rooted in Jordan. Working with families, employers, and partner organizations.

04

Dignity

Person-first language, person-first design, person-first outcomes.

OUR PARTNERS

We don't do this work alone.
